What you’ll be doing

In this new Senior Technical PM role you will be working to make sure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. You’ll take responsibility for delivery of both internal and external projects from requirements definition to customer facing release. This is an exciting opportunity to make a role your own, share best practice and make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with stakeholders to maintain a detailed understanding of, and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Communicate project vision, goals and objectives and how they tie in, support or impede company strategic objectives
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation throughout the project delivery
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and coordinate the use of these resources
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage and track team velocity, financials, and other KPIs in relation to the plan and published progress reports
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques, including implementing the change management process
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders, including relationships with clients where required
  • Resolve conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision-making competencies
  • Perform risk management and maintain risk log to minimise project risks
  • Provide process improvement recommendations based on own recommendations, best practices and industry standards

Who you are

Qualifications

  • Degree or other appropriate qualification in a project management related, technical, or science field

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proven working experience in technical project management with a software development focus at a senior level

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
  • Proven capability to drive efficiency and assure optimum delivery of projects
  • Strong understanding of the Agile development methodology and agile delivery best practice
  • Experience of working in a SCRUM environment
  • Strong working hands-on knowledge of technical project management using JIRA for development management, planning and analysis
  • Experience working in the digital health industry and understanding of its regulatory frameworks and requirements is an advantage
  • Proven capability to evaluate complex situations using multiple sources of information filters, validate and interpret dynamic material
  • Excellent stakeholder facing and internal team written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and common project management tools
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work
