Digital Marketing Manager

Job purpose

The Digital Marketing Manager will develop best-in-class digital marketing programs to align with the overall marketing and communications objectives for Congenica.

You will be building brand awareness and driving lead generation – all with the objective of increasing visibility, uptake and usage of Congenica products.

Qualified candidates will be fluent in their understanding of the strategies and tactics of today’s digital marketing ecosystem, and how to create and deliver integrated plans that drive business results. This role will collaborate closely with the wider Commercial and Product Marketing teams and with Congenica’s marketing and communications agency partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivery of digital marketing campaigns to support company objectives
  • Responsible for all digital media to drive customer engagement, including planning, execution, optimisation and reporting on performance
  • Develop effective digital content programmes including lead capture and nurture programmes, website content, webinars, blogs and thought leadership pieces to both increase brand awareness and grow the sales funnel
  • Manage integrated multi-channel digital communications programmes encompassing email marketing, social media and digital advertising to reach targeted market segments and prospective accounts

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop digital tools to support and optimise the customer journey from awareness of the Congenica brand through to consideration eventual onboarding
  • Work with marketing communications agency to support and amplify digital strategy
  • Drive email strategy and execution in partnership with internal teams and agencies
  • Manage digital media advertising to reach, attract and engage target audiences
  • Oversee management of SEO and PPC strategies in partnership with external agency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive analytics, marketing automation, web production and email to create and execute robust digital campaigns
  • Effectively build relationships with product marketing and marketing communications teams and act as main point of contact for planning digital programmes
  • Partner with commercial team members in other regions to ensure digital plans are appropriately aligned and best practices are shared


  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Marketing or a related field. CIM or MBA qualification preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience strategising B2B digital marketing programmes
  • Must have experience strategising multi-channel digital campaigns. Strong digital marketing acumen and a proven track record of developing impactful campaigns that drive business results
  • Thorough understanding of inbound & outbound marketing, organic and paid search engine marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, website strategy, customer relationship management, and more is required
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns at once and effectively prioritise work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience and understanding of marketing B2B software and/or the healthcare or life science industry preferred
  • Experience of managing media budgets and external agencies beneficial
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms a plus
  • Experience with marketing tools including Hubspot, Salesforce, WordPress, Google Webmaster Tools and Adobe Suite highly desirable
